What we are accountable for

Configuration, software, interfaces and protection are our job. Cabling, racks and terminals next to the lines stay with your own engineering staff or an electrician you already use, who work from our written steps while one of our engineers joins by video.

Agree the scope

Office network apart from production

Our engineers draw up the zoning, prepare the firewall policy and push it out remotely. PLCs, HMI panels and line PCs end up talking only to the systems their job requires, and the design is documented for your NIS2 and Polish KSC paperwork.

An ERP that stays up

Whether you run Comarch ERP XL, enova365 or a legacy package in your own server room, we care for the server, SQL Server, backups, updates and user rights. Maintenance windows are agreed with your ERP partner so an upgrade never collides with month-end close.

Shop-floor data into the ERP

Production orders travel from the ERP into MES or scheduling software, while finished quantities and material consumption return the other way. Those interfaces are built and supervised by us, so nobody retypes figures from a clipboard when the shift ends.

Eyes on the network and servers

Every switch, firewall, server and backup job reports to our monitoring. If the link to the finished goods warehouse vanishes at 2:40, the on-duty engineer is already on it before the shift supervisor notices.

Access for machine vendors

A machine builder's service engineer must be able to connect to the line they supplied, not browse your finance files. Instead of a permanently installed TeamViewer, they receive time-limited access to a single segment, with every session recorded.

Cover for three shifts

Under the 24/7 IT support service the night shift is treated just like the morning: an issue logged at 3 am is answered within the same agreed time as one logged at 10. Weekend and bank holiday production counts too.

Changes to the production network are timed around your planned stoppages and maintenance. No cut-over ever happens in the middle of a production run.

Remote inventory

Our first pass is a network scan plus a look at firewall settings and the ERP environment. Together with your head of production we list the systems that must not stop at all.

You receive a split into office and production zones, the connections allowed to cross between them and a change calendar matched to scheduled downtime.

Step-by-step cut-over

Configuration happens remotely, hall by hall or line by line. If a cable needs moving, your maintenance technician works through our checklist and we see the effect immediately on our screens.

Monitoring, patching during pre-agreed slots, regular reviews of rules and vendor accounts, and support shaped around your shift rota.

Ransomware often reaches a factory through an inbox in purchasing, not through a machine. That makes separating the office and production networks one of the most effective safeguards. With strict rules, an attack stands far less chance of crossing into the production zone, the lines can keep running, and meanwhile we rebuild the office systems from backup.

Questions and answers

Possibly. Some manufacturing sectors fall within NIS2, and whether the rules reach you depends on factors such as your sector and company size. That assessment belongs with a lawyer, and we supply the technical facts for it. After that we help with the technical groundwork: risk assessment, access rules, incident procedures and a reporting route to the relevant CSIRT.

No. Writing PLC logic, recipes and commissioning machines is work for the line builder or your in-house automation engineers. Everything around them is ours: networking, remote access, servers, the ERP, interfaces and protection. We record that split in the agreement, which means nobody wonders whom to email when something breaks.

Nearly every task comes down to settings and software, which a secure remote connection handles well. Hands-on jobs are uncommon, for example replacing a dead switch or re-plugging a lead. Your maintenance crew does them, guided step by step with our engineer listening in. In practice that beats waiting for someone to drive over.

They often cannot be updated because the machine software would not survive it. So we isolate them instead: a dedicated segment, no route to the internet, just the traffic the machine really needs, and USB storage disabled. That lets them keep working safely until the manufacturer offers a replacement.

Quite the opposite. The partner keeps module configuration, reports and training for the finance team, while we take on the infrastructure: server, database, backups, performance and access. We put the division of work in writing with them, so when Comarch ERP XL or enova365 is upgraded everyone knows who prepares the environment and who installs the release.
