Solution · By company size

Mid-sized companies

Headcount went from fifteen to sixty, while IT stayed frozen three years back. A shared folder everyone can edit, accounts of former staff that still sign in, Comarch ERP XL or enova365 on a server only one colleague understands. Then a major customer sends over a NIS2 security questionnaire asking about backups, MFA and incident handling. We straighten all of this out remotely, one step at a time, without halting daily work.

Where we step in

At this size, whether Monday morning goes smoothly depends less on individual laptops and more on servers, identities, permissions and data.

Describe your environment

Servers and virtual machines

Windows and Linux machines, wherever they run: on-premises, in a colocation rack or on Azure. Updates are applied in pre-arranged service windows and each change is recorded.

Role-based access

We tidy Entra ID and on-premises AD, replacing rights granted "just for now" with department groups. Newcomers are productive on day one, and leavers lose sign-in rights before their last day ends.

Backups proven by restores

Server images, Microsoft 365 and the ERP database follow a fixed backup plan, one set stored outside the company. At an interval agreed in the contract, we bring back a selected system as a test and note the recovery time.

Network and internet links

We set up and monitor the firewall, switches and wireless over a remote connection. Guest, camera and shop-floor traffic is separated from the office network, and a backup LTE or 5G link steps in if the fibre drops.

Customer audits and NIS2

We help answer supplier questionnaires from clients covered by NIS2 and the amended Polish cybersecurity act, and gather the evidence: an MFA report, a backup policy, an incident reporting procedure.

Regular summary

At an agreed interval you receive figures drawn from our service desk tool: request volumes, response times achieved, the state of updates and backups, plus the risks we see coming.

Your own IT person, us, or both

Companies of this size rarely face a black-and-white choice. Below are three typical arrangements, with their strengths and weak spots.

Model 1

In-house only

A single IT employee handles everything from toner to firewall.

Knows people and processes
Understands who relies on which tool
Holidays and sick leave stall work
Security keeps slipping down the list
A sensible middle ground

Model 2

Split duties

Your IT person runs the ERP and users, we look after infrastructure and security.

Cover when needed
August no longer means a support gap
Specialists on call
Network, Intune and backups sit with us

Model 3

Full outsourcing

All of IT under one contract with Apply.

One accountable partner
Directors are spared managing technology
Terms in writing
Scope and response times in the contract

Questions and answers

Your firm may not be covered by these rules itself, but your client might be, which is why it vets the security of its suppliers. Hence the forms and the questions about MFA, backups and incident reporting. Whether NIS2 applies to you directly is best confirmed with a lawyer. We help you answer the technical questions truthfully, and wherever safeguards are missing we put them in place before the client comes back asking again.

First we map who can reach what and what they genuinely use. Next we agree roles with department heads, and only then move people into groups, one team at a time, with a quick way to roll back. How long it takes depends on the size of the company, and we plan changes so that work carries on.

No. Nobody knows your business and colleagues better, so they stay at the centre. We lift the repetitive tasks, monitoring and specialist topics such as firewalls, Intune and backups off their desk, freeing them to develop the ERP and finally take leave without a phone in their pocket.

Step one is a review of your IT. During the first weeks of the contract we inventory every server, service, account and the links between them, and put it on paper. You own those documents, including after any future end of our cooperation.

Let us price support for your environment

Tell us how many people you employ, how many servers you run and what lives on them. We will review the setup and return a price with a list of concrete tasks.
