Hardware inventory
Model, firmware version and end-of-support date for every router, switch, wireless unit and printer. Kit that no longer receives security fixes goes to the top of the list.
An assessment means measurement, not a stroll round the office. Every assumption is checked against readings from the equipment and from a small probe running on one of your PCs.
Model, firmware version and end-of-support date for every router, switch, wireless unit and printer. Kit that no longer receives security fixes goes to the top of the list.
Line and port utilisation at peak hours, CRC error counters, mismatched duplex settings and loops capable of freezing an entire floor.
Signal strength, overlapping channels and interference from neighbours. A colleague walks the office with a survey app following our guide, and we turn the readings into a coverage map.
Whether visitors, cameras, printers and the finance team sit on their own VLANs, or everything shares one flat network where ransomware jumps from a laptop to the server within minutes.
Open ports, forwarding rules set up years ago for a contractor, VPN accounts belonging to people who have left, and admin panels reachable from the internet.
Devices and links whose loss halts the whole business, with an estimate of what doubling them up would cost.
Findings ranked by risk, a rough price for each fix and a clear split between what we can change remotely and what needs hands on site.
Readings are taken on a normal busy day rather than in an empty office. The report date is agreed at the outset.
An hour online with whoever knows the history of the network, a list of user complaints and remote access set up from our instructions.
Configurations, MAC address tables, port statistics and several days of line quality readings. We change nothing at this stage, we only read.
Complaints are laid against the numbers. Quite often the “slow internet” turns out to be an overloaded server disk or a wireless unit on a crowded channel.
We go through the diagram, findings and remediation plan in an online meeting. Physical tasks are written up so that your own staff or an installer can carry them out.
Switching ISP rarely cures “slow internet”. Often the culprit is inside the building: an old 100 Mb/s switch in the middle of the network, a cable with a damaged core, or a dozen cameras streaming over the same line as your video calls. A faster broadband package costs money every month and changes none of that.
We bill by the hour at PLN 190 excl. VAT for engineer time. You get a range of hours before we start, and if it looks likely to be exceeded we ask first.
That happens a lot. Some of the data comes from the devices further in and from the probe, and we ask the provider on your behalf for admin access or bridge mode. Sometimes the report recommends a firewall of your own behind the ISP box, so the company finally controls its own network.
Yes, because those are the devices most likely to run default passwords and firmware several years old. We check which zone they sit in, whether they can reach the internet and whether someone outside could log in to them.
No. An assessment describes how the network is built and where it is weak. A penetration test is a controlled break-in attempt run under a separate scope and written consent. After the assessment it is much easier to judge whether you need such a test and what it should cover.
Before we begin we sign a data processing agreement and a confidentiality undertaking. Access is open only during the agreed window, every session is logged, and at the end we ask you to rotate any credentials you shared with us.
Tell us what is not working and how many sites you run. We reply within one working day with an estimate of hours and a start date.
Your enquiry has reached us
You will hear back within one working day, and if you have reported an outage that is holding up work, it goes to the front of the queue.
